Zap controls the Vestel sets that run Android TV or Google TV, over your Wi-Fi. Nothing to point, nothing to plug in — and when the remote disappears under the sofa, your phone takes its place.

How it works
Vestel televisions running Android TV or Google TV pair with Zap directly: D-pad, OK, back, home, volume, power and playback.
Zap reaches the TV over the network rather than infrared, so it works from anywhere in the room — even with the set inside a cabinet.
Use the phone keyboard for YouTube or Netflix search instead of nudging one letter at a time with the D-pad.

Vestel is Türkiye's largest television maker, and its range does not run on a single software platform. The recent Android TV and Google TV sets — the UG and QG series among them — can be controlled from a phone over the network, and those are the ones Zap works with. Other Vestel models ship with Vidaa or TiVo software, which is a different system that Zap cannot reach. The quickest way to tell them apart is the home screen: if you see the Google TV or Android TV interface, your phone can become a full remote for that set. Zap finds the television on the same Wi-Fi by itself; the first time you connect, the TV shows a six-digit code that you type in once, and every connection after that is instant.
